How To Use Microsoft Word To Generate Random Text?

In the blink of an eye, the hidden Microsoft Word function allows one generates random text in multiple paragraphs to form an article from a blank document.

As shown by the “silent” screencast above (choose higher resolution and full screen mode for clarity), all you need to remember is type =rand(x,y) and press ENTER key, where
  • x is an optional digit that denotes number of paragraph to print.
  • y is also an optional digit but denotes number of sentence in a paragraph to be printed.

On Microsoft Word 2010 (also Word 2007), there is another hidden function, =lorem(x,y), used to generate lorem ipsum (meaningless random text that is normally used by WordPress theme or web designer to demonstrate the looks and feels of text rendering on web page).
