Download The Genuine Windows 8 RTM ISO Image

No matter where you get it, please verify the SHA-1 checksum of your ISO image file with the one published by TechNet, to confirm it’s genuine (hasn’t been tampered).

The Windows 8 RTM ISO image is already released to MSDN/TechNet subscribers (and few other privileged customers) according to the schedule published in Windows Team Blog.

For other end users, the GA of Windows 8 is on 26th of Oct. If you can’t wait and curious about its final look and feel, the differences between RTM and beta build, or simply want to evaluate this “final” build before GA, you got to ask around (or Google) and see who is kind to share the genuine ISO image file.
Meanwhile, Microsoft TechNet has published SHA-1 file checksum of Windows 8 ISO image.

Verify Windows 8 SHA-1 checksum

My favorite Windows file checksum utility is HashCheck Shell Extension that integrated to Windows right-click context menu.
