How To Navigate Google Search Result With Keyboard?

You can use only keyboard to navigate Google Search result pages, just in case the mouse device suddenly not working.

On the search result page, you will see a little triangle beside the record (as shown in the screenshot) – this marker indicates the active record that will be “clicked” as you hit ENTER key:

Uses keyboard to navigate Google Search results.

To move the marker to next record, just use the “up arrow” or “down arrow” key.

If the cursor is on the search box, press ENTER to move the focus out to first record (the little blue triangle will appear beside it).

When the marker moved after the last record, the first focus is “Next” link then followed by the ads on right pane.

If you don’t see the said marker at all, check if you’ve turned off or disabled the web browser JavaScript support.
