How To Access Windows Live Web Messenger 2010?

If you cannot use Windows Live Messenger to catch up with friends or colleague, try the web-based Windows Live Messenger which allows one to chat online or IM using web browser!

Note, the Windows Live Messenger Beta version 2010 (build 15.3.2804.607) calls this as “Messenger on the web”. At this time of writing, the Windows Live Web Messenger 2010 can be accessed in this way:

1) Login on profile.live.com

2) Move the mouse pointer to Messenger link appears atop the page and click the “Sign in to Messenger” option:

3) Move the mouse pointer to Messenger link again and click on one of the online contact (there will be a numeric figure next to Messenger link indicating the number of online contacts; otherwise none of your friends online to Windows Live Messenger network)

4) Then, you’ll see a small chat window for the contact you’ve just clicked. Click the “Pop out conversations” icon (next to the X icon; red color in this screenshot):
