Use Your Windows Live Messenger And Hotmail To Help Social Causes

You could be happier if you know how to love people and be kind to everything around your environment. Regardless of who you are or how you live, embracing happiness by simply offering helping hand to people who need it.

Now, with Microsoft i’m initiative, (every Yankee) can helps some of the world’s most effective organizations dedicated to social causes.

As one of the notable tagline that says “Just join and start talking, and we’ll start giving.”, whenever you start using Windows Live Messenger or Windows Live Mail, Microsoft commits to share a portion of its advertising revenue (that automatically appears in MSN / Hotmail, whether you like it or not) with the cause you choose from the partner social cause organizations.

Such social cause organizations in the list includes American Red Cross, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, National Aids Fund, The Humane Society of the United States, NineMillion.org, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Sierra Club, Unicef, StopGlobalWarming.org, Suan G. Komen for Cure.

Since inception of i’m initiative at March 2007, the donation is approaching to $2 million.

According to Microsoft Live.com, i’m initiative is only applicable to United States residents at this moment – bad news, as not everyone could “force” Microsoft to donate more!

You could, however, “advertise” Microsoft i’m initiative by creating a personalize i’m initiative web button/banner, Windows Live Messenger theme, or wallpaper for blog, website, email, or Desktop.
