Another self-made video footage posted to YouTube, demonstrate the steps for enabling Windows Explorer option to view/show Windows Vista hidden system files/folders.
In short, open the Windows Explorer (the only default file explorer application of every Windows OS), click Organize drop-box, Folder and search options, go to View tab of Folder Option dialog box and configure these two options that appear in Advanced Settings section:
Once you’ve turn on these two options, you will see the hidden files with their icons appear with a lighter color in Windows Explorer, e.g. the $Recycle.bin hidden system folder:

- Deselect Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)
