ShareThis is one of the many Social Bookmarking widget - available as WordPress plugin or JavaScript for HTML weblog such as New BloggerAlex King has just released the latest ShareThis 2.0 for bloggers who would like to add social bookmarking function on their sites.
As with version 1.0, ShareThis available as WordPress plugin or JavaScript widget for HTML weblog platforms (such as New Blogger).
Features of ShareThis social bookmarking widget:
  • Support WordPress plugin or JavaScript widget for HMTL weblog (e.g. New Blogger)
  • Support one or few popular social bookmarking sites – Facebook, StumbleUpon, Reddit, Newsvine, TailRank, Yahoo! MyWeb, Technorati, BlogMarks, Digg, Del.icio.us, Blinklist, Furl, Ma.gnolia, Google Bookmarks, Windows Live
  • Customize color of ShareThis widget
  • Sending page/post to friends via email, AIM, SMS, Facebook, and MySpace
  • For register users (free of charge), there is statistics to keep track of the sharing activity on your weblog.

If you’re generating ShareThis JavaScript for New Blogger/HTML weblog, simply copy and paste the JavaScript snippet in between the pair of <body> </body> tag in the HTML source code.

Suppose there are new features update, they’ll be automatically made available to your ShareThis enabled weblog too.
