Timerstop causes no problems with Vista’s operation, as you have implied. The system is recognized as legit thus far so there is no problem with updates or other downloads. You also don’t have to enter a key, which can be blacklisted later on. Finally, for the life of me, I don’t see why people want an activated system. In an unactivated state you can do whatever you want and move the OS between drives, etc., without being bothered with–you said it–REACTIVATION!
That’s why timerstop is the best (and mind you, simplest) crack IMHO.
